Steve is a Special Counsel in our Insurance Services Group and a member of our Insurance Industry Group.
He works almost exclusively on professional indemnity and director’s and officer’s liability matters.
Steve has over 25 years’ experience in commercial litigation and claims resolution. He provides advice on all aspects of professional indemnity claims and policy interpretation. He works closely with underwriters and insureds in analysing liability, causation and remoteness of damage, particularly alleged business interruption and consequential loss. He is regularly involved in the conduct of complex commercial disputes involving multiple defendants, and provides strategic management for resolution through mediation, litigation and/or arbitration.
Steve is a former commercial barrister and a court-approved mediator.
