Marie is a senior associate in our Intellectual Property & Technology Services Group and a member of our national Medical & Pharmaceutical Industry Group.
Marie represents clients from medical/pharmaceutical, consumer goods and electrical and energy technology industries in significant patent, copyright and trade mark litigation. She is currently representing clients in generic v originator pharmaceutical patent actions and disputes involving innovation patents for electrical devices.
Marie also has expertise is in the areas of health law and administrative law. She has experience in providing advice on issues such as privacy and confidentiality, freedom of information, tenders and probity, consent, clinical trials and health legislative/regulatory requirements. She has provided advisory and litigation services to Commonwealth and state government departments and agencies. Her experience also involves commercial litigation and dispute resolution in areas such as equitable and contractual disputes, financial services, property disputes and competition law.
Marie is currently studying a Masters of Health Law at the University of Sydney.
