DibbsBarker is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Goss as a partner in the Financial Services Industry Group as of 19 June 2012.
A highly regarded banking, finance and insolvency specialist, Michael has over 20 years of experience acting for major financial institutions. He holds existing relationships with many of DibbsBarker’s clients, which include three of the top four Australian banks, several international banks, two regional banks and a number of significant other financial institutions.
Michael’s specific areas of specialisation are: secured lending and project finance; agribusiness secured lending; security reviews and restructuring advice; farm debt mediation and consequential forbearance or enforcement; and commercial and residential secured insolvency.
Michael’s appointment, in addition to that of recent partner recruit Cameron McKenzie, demonstrates DibbsBarker’s commitment to increasing the service offering in the banking, finance and insolvency space.

Amanda Bull, special counsel – Amanda is a leading figure in the financial services industry for her knowledge on the Personal Property Securities (PPS) legislation and her ability to provide practical advice and recommendations on complex banking and finance legislation.
Sarah Papas, senior associate – Sarah is experienced in drafting and reviewing banking and finance documentation, security reviews and restructuring advice, debt mediations including extensive experience in farm debt mediations and consequential forbearance or enforcement measures. Sarah also has considerable experience in commercial and residential secured insolvency matters.
