PPSA - all systems go!

After many previous delays and some doubt over readiness for the PPSA outside of the major banks and finance companies, the new national Personal Property Securities Register has today commenced operation.

As many will be aware, the PPS Register has replaced numerous state and commonwealth registers relating to security interests, for example, the ASIC Register of Company Charges, "REVS", Bills of Sale Registers and Security Interests in Goods Registers.

Over the coming months there will no doubt be many aspects of the new regime to be considered in many different contexts. Persons with queries or concerns should contact a member of the DibbsBarker PPSA Team, or click here to view the DibbsBarker PPSA information page.
