Two partners appointed to DibbsBarker Board

Date: 25 October 2017

DibbsBarker partners Jane Wild and Scott Guthrie have been appointed to the firm’s Board, effective 1 October 2017.

Jane specialises in advising on construction projects and commercial and energy services for the real estate industry as well as solar projects. Jane acts for a range of private sector clients including developers, large listed property trusts, contractors and suppliers, and also advises local and international companies on procurement and alternative delivery models for contracting with government.

Scott is a restructuring and insolvency expert who provides dispute resolution advice to participants in the finance, insolvency and turnaround sectors. Scott’s clients include major, regional and rural banks, non-bank financiers, investors and shareholders. Scott also acts for a range of insolvency practitioners in their roles as receivers, liquidators, administrators and bankruptcy trustees.

In joining DibbsBarker’s Board, Jane and Scott have taken the seats vacated by Bill Burrough and Matthew Rollason whose terms have concluded, and who will both continue their practices within the firm’s Real Estate & Construction team.

“I would like to thank both Bill and Matt for their dedication and outstanding contributions as Board members,” said Emma Hodgman, Chair of DibbsBarker’s Board. “I also congratulate Jane and Scott on their appointment. They each bring diverse experience and perspectives to the Board, and I look forward to working with them as the Board continues to drive the firm’s strategy over the next few years.”
