Andrew Flannery

Andrew is a partner in our Real Estate & Construction group.

Andrew joined DibbsBarker in July 2014, bringing with him market-leading expertise in project delivery and development agreements for private and public sector clients.

Andrew assists clients in all areas of property law including property development, acquisitions, disposals, leasing and due diligence. With over twenty-five years’ experience, Andrew has worked on some of Australia’s most significant leasing deals and has handled many high-profile property matters and transactions.

His track record includes acting for Woolworths on the recent redevelopment of a major mixed-use shopping centre development in Double Bay, and for the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority in its management of the overseas passenger terminal, the development of Jones Bay Wharf and commercial residential developments around the foreshore including in Pyrmont, Ultimo and The Rocks. Andrew has worked with Landcom to set up several of their new suburbs including Second Ponds Creek, Hoxton Park West, and Blue Gum Vista estate (near Newcastle), for Marsh and Mercer on their leases of their headquarters in Sydney and Melbourne, and for PwC on their major leases at Barangaroo in Sydney and Freshwater Place in Melbourne. Andrew also worked with the Olympic Co-ordination Authority on the development of the Olympic Village for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

Andrew is a member of the Property Law Committee Law Council of Australia and the Law Society of NSW. Andrew has been recognised by his peers as a 'Best Lawyer' for Real Property Law in Best Lawyers Peer Review Australia since 2008.
