Cameron Kelly is a Special Counsel in our Renewable Energy and Sustainability practice group as well as a member of our National Energy, Resources and Infrastructure, and Property Industry Groups.
Cameron has over a decade of experience in advising clients in both domestic and international carbon and emissions trading markets, having worked as in-house legal counsel for a variety of carbon offset project developers in Europe, the United States and Australia. In the energy and resources field, Cameron has acted for several large multi-national corporations, and has experience in drafting complex energy and construction-related contractual documentation. Cameron also has experience in the environment and planning arena, having acted for a variety of clients in the NSW Land and Environment Court in both an appellant and defendant capacity.
Cameron regularly presents at carbon-related events around the country, and has published carbon-related articles for The Australian Financial Review. Cameron also holds a Masters of Environmental Science from the University of New South Wales.
Cameron is admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales and Queensland, and is a member of the National Environmental Law Association (Australia), the Environment and Planning Law Association of Australia and the Environment Institute of Australia.
