Dean is an insurance specialist with more than 24 years experience in managing a specialist insurance litigation practice.
Dean has experience in a wide variety of insurance claims (both defended and recovery) and insurance advisory work on behalf of both Australian and international insurers, reinsurers and self-insureds, including professional indemnity, public and product liability, directors and officers liability, property and catastrophic compulsory third-party claims.
Dean’s focus is on early identification of issues, thorough preparation and analysis and early resolution, where appropriate. The central pillar of Dean’s approach is quality of service and technical expertise in the context of commerciality and cost sensitivities.
Dean is an acknowledged catastrophic injury expert and is regularly asked to speak at, or chair, catastrophic injury conferences.
