Jennifer is a Special Counsel in our Insurance Services Group and a member of our Insurance Industry Group.

She specialises in giving coverage advice and defending claims against professionals and directors and officers.

With over 15 years’ experience as an insurance litigator, Jennifer has particular expertise in defending claims for pure economic loss and prosecuting recovery actions and contribution claims. She has also worked for two years in the London legal market and has acted for major domestic and international insurers, as well as Lloyds syndicates.

Jennifer has a particular focus on defending pure economic loss claims for professionals and company directors and officers on instructions from insurers.  She has a Masters of Laws with specialised insurance law studies, and has lectured in Insurance Law at the University of Queensland.

Jennifer has particular expertise in defending multi party and complex litigation in the Supreme and Federal Courts.
