Louise is a Special Counsel in our Insurance Services Group. She is also a member of our National Insurance Industry Group.
Louise has acted in the defence of a broad variety of personal injury actions for over a decade, including employer/employee claims and public and products liability claims. She now predominantly practices in the area of workers’ compensation, with experience handling matters involving multiple injuries and incidents and over period of time injuries.
In addition to the defence of claims, Louise provides advice to her self-insurance clients regarding interpretation of governing legislation and its application to the business of those clients at both statutory claim and common law level. Louise is involved in the defence of claims during the pre-court process and litigation process.
Louise takes a holistic approach to claims handling, cognisant of the business requirements, reputation and commercial interests of both the insurers and insureds when defending and resolving claims. Louise provides pragmatic, commercial solutions to clients in the handling of their personal injury portfolios.
