Mark is a special counsel in our Employee and Industrial Relations Services Group and a member of our National Medical & Pharmaceutical Industry Group.
Mark specialises in employment and industrial law, discrimination law and work, health and safety law, with an emphasis on the Medical & Pharmaceutical Industry. He is the author of ‘Australian Commercial Precedents – Employment Precedents’, published by Thomson Reuters. He is also a contributor on employment law to ‘Lawyers Practice Manuals’ in New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland and ‘National Workplace Relations’, all published by Thomson Reuters. Mark also has a Masters of Laws (2011).
With 18 years’ experience, Mark is frequently consulted to implement change in organisations, which sees him advise on the employment aspects of restructures, mergers and downsizing. He provides strategic advice in setting up employment structures, for example, employment and consultancy contracts and enterprise agreements. He also advises on misconduct, impairment, employee entitlements, WHS obligations and industrial disputes. Mark conducts post-employment litigation in superior courts, discrimination tribunals and the Fair Work Commission.
