Mark is a special counsel in our Employee and Industrial Relations Services Group and a member of our National Medical & Pharmaceutical Industry Group.
Mark specialises in employment and industrial law, discrimination law and work, health and safety law. He is the author of “Australian Commercial Precedents – Employment Precedents,” published by Thomson Reuters. He is also a contributor on employment law to “Lawyers Practice Manuals” in New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland and “National Workplace Relations”, all published by Thomson Reuters. Mark also has a Masters of Laws (2011).
Mark is frequently consulted to implement change at the highest levels of organisations but his 18 years experience extends to all aspects of the employment relationship. He provides strategic advice in setting up employment structures, for example, employment and consultancy contracts and enterprise agreements. He advises on issues arising during employment, such as misconduct, impairment, entitlements, WHS prosecutions and industrial disputes. Mark is also regularly consulted on dismissals (and redundancies) and conducts post-employment litigation in superior courts, discrimination tribunals and the Fair Work Commission.
