Mark is a special counsel in our Commercial Services Group.
Mark specialises in employment and industrial law, discrimination law and occupational health and safety law. He is the author of “Australian Commercial Precedents – Employment Precedents,” published by Thomson Reuters. He is also a contributor on employment law to “Lawyers Practice Manuals” in New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland and “National Workplace Relations”, all published by Thomson Reuters. Mark also has a Masters of Laws (2011).
Mark’s seventeen years experience extends to all aspects of the employment relationship. He provides strategic advice in setting up employment structures, for example, employment and consultancy contracts and enterprise agreements. He advises on issues arising during employment, such as misconduct, impairment, entitlements, OHS prosecutions and industrial disputes. Mark is also regularly consulted on dismissals (and redundancies) and conducts post-employment litigation in superior courts, discrimination tribunals and Fair Work Australia.
