Matthew is a Special Counsel in our Insurance Services Group and a member of our National Insurance Industry Group. He acts for a number of insurers and corporations and his clients value his accessible manner and pragmatic advice.  He is highly regarded for his understanding of commercial imperatives and his grasp of business practicalities.  

A significant component of Matthew's practice is a portfolio of major and catastrophic personal injury claims, with particular focus on traumatic brain injuries and structural spinal damage.  He manages a range of personal injury, product liability, business interruption and property damage matters. He acts in the Supreme, District and Federal Courts and in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Matthew has an assured track record in mediations and informal negotiations and he brings a sensible strategic approach to litigation.
