Wendy is a partner in our Disputes & Litigation Group and a member of our National Property and Financial Services Industry Groups.
Wendy specialises in reconstruction. She works with clients dealing with actual and potential financial stress in a broad range of industries but with particular expertise in insurance, financial services and building and construction.
Wendy has been involved in many of Australia’s largest insolvencies/reorganisations including HIH, New Cap Re, James Hardie, Fincorp, Lehman Brothers and Raptis Groups. She was recently acknowledged in Chambers Asia-Pacific as a 2012 “Leader in their Field” for Insolvency/ Restructuring.
Our Insolvency team, which Wendy heads up, has specialist expertise in the law affecting directors and officers. They advise on avoidance of breaches and also dealing with the consequences of breaches including all insurance aspects. They understand the complex and expanding demands on directors, particularly those in high profile commercial enterprises. The team has valuable experience in regulatory investigations and litigation.
