Acting in relation to its bids to purchase various Sydney CBD buildings including 1 O'Connell Street.
Babcock & Brown and Renewable Power Ventures – Capital Windfarm
Advised the owner on the development and construction of the $220 million Capital Wind Farm project comprising a 132.3MW wind farm consisting of 63 x 2.1 megawatt wind turbine generators.
Stockland – Optus Centre Court
Acting for Stockland in the relocation of Optus’ Australian Headquarters to 84,000 square metres of commercial office space in the $350 million Centre Court estate at North Ryde including real estate development, construction, management and leasing documentation.
Hardie Holdings – Sweetwater
Acting for the developer in relation to the joint venture development of a masterplanned community of 7,500 residential lots on the Huntlee site in the Hunter Valley (formerly known as Sweetwater) and the environmental offset transfer of over 860 hectares to the NSW Government for conservation. Documentation involved joint venture agreements, shareholder documentation, financial and project management agreements.
CSR – Upstream glass upgrade
Acting for CSR in relation to the $130 million upgrade of its Dandenong Facility including new Batch Plant as part of CSR’s purchase of Pilkington Glass.
Council of the City of Sydney
Acting for the Council in relation to a number of major civic improvements projects including the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, the Customs House Redevelopment Project and the Oxford Street Upgrade project.
Charter Hall – Atrium
Acting for Charter Hall, which involved the development of a high rise commercial development and the relocation of American Express, as the anchor tenant, to a new $137 million commercial precinct developed and constructed in Pyrmont, Sydney.
Charter Hall – Zone
Acting for Charter Hall, which involved the relocation of Colonial First State’s offices to a $210 million environmentally advanced 48,500 square metre campus office development at Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney.
TransGrid
Acting for TransGrid in relation to network support agreements with proponents in relation to TransGrid’s application to the Australian Energy Regulator for the pass through of power generation and load curtailments arrangements to defer significant 500kV investments.
OPUS
Acting in the acquisition of circa $200 million of significant commercial and industrial assets using development agreement structures and advising in the ongoing development and “hand over” of those assets.
Acting in leasing negotiations with CASA for “whole of building” lease in the Brisbane Airport precinct with particular reference to Commonwealth leasing requirements including its “green” requirements under ABGR and Green Star Ratings and other “green” occupancy issues.
